What to Do If the Lift Stops While In It
Stay calm and do not attempt to push the landing door as this might interfere with the rescue process. Instead, these steps will be very simple: wait for 30 to 40 seconds until the lights and the fans go out. Then, press the same floor button on the operating panel for the landing door lever to release. These swift actions assure a smooth and safe exit from an elevator.
If the Lift Stops Between Floors While You Are Inside
Built to the highest safety specifications, our lifts will ensure your safety at any time, even if things just get rare. If the lift were to stop between the floors, then listen to the advice below in order to be sure you will exit safely: Wait for 30-40 seconds until the lights and fans turn off, which will allow the lift to descend automatically to the nearest floor, where you may safely exit.
What to Do If the Lift Stops While You Are Out of the Lift
It can be annoying if the lift were to stop in between two floors; nevertheless, keep calm. In a maximum of 30-40 seconds, when the lights and fans turn off, follow these simple steps: Use the door open key provided. Insert the key in the door lock box and turn it anti-clockwise to unlock the landing door. With this, gently push the door open so that passengers may exit safely. If the door does not open, attempt opening it again while unlocking the landing door lever.
Steps for Troubleshooting an Electric Door Lock Lever Malfunction.
- Launch the door open key given.
- Insert it inside the door lock unit and turn it anti-clockwise.
- Pick the door lever, above the door, to unlock it at the same time.
- Open the landing door and let the passengers safely continue their journey.
